Dear User, the Climate Station is an evolution of the eStation, with additional features, products and implemented with technologies that are more modern. It is made available under the Web Client section. If interested, also look at the description of the ClimSA program at climsa.org and under the Project Section.

The online Analysis tool of the eStation 2.0 has now significantly smaller sized vector layer.
The compression has been done by using the Douglas Peucker algorithm.
Loading the vecoro layers in a Mapview is now much faster and uses less bandwidth.

Dear eStation Users
Following the end of dissemination of the CGLS PROBAV vegetation indicators and the release of the BRDF corrected SPOTV and PROBAV 3.0 version, the eStation is now able to present a single time-series of NDVI product, composed as:
- NDVI 1km SPOT-VGT and PROBAV 3.0: from May 1998 to June 2020
- OLCI 300m 2.0: from July 2020 to present (re-sampled at 1km)
This version is named on the eStation as 'vgt-pv-olci' and distributed as replacement of the sv2-pv2.2, based on VGT and PROBAV only.
Anomaly indicators are also distributed, but must be use with caution. Indeed, these products are derived from the climatology of OLCI and VGT-PROBAV LTS, so biases may be present over some regions.
The composite is available on the online platform

Dear eStation Users,
In order to ensure continuity for your analysis on vegetation condition status on the eStation, and in view of the end of operations of PROBAV, the following products have been made available on the online platform (https://estation.jrc.ec.europa.eu/eStation2/):
‑ MODIS NDVI at 1km, and related anomalies (zNDVI and NDVId) from the BOKU University
‑ MODIS Fapar at 1km, long‑term statistics (min, max, avg) and z‑score anomaly from JRC E.1 ‑ Unit as in GDO tool (https://edo.jrc.ec.europa.eu/gdo)
We acknowledge and thanks the co‑operation of the prof. Clement Atzberger from BOKU University and our E.1 and D.5 colleagues for sharing these datasets with the GMES & Africa community.
We are actively following the transition from PROBAV to Sentinel‑3 in order integrate the CGLS products on the eStation, both online and on the platforms installed in Africa.
You are therefore invited to visit and register on the online version, and follow further communication on this channel.
Do not hesitate to contact us at JRC‑ESTATION@ec.europa.eu, in case you are using the above mentioned products for further information and guidance.

Dear eStation Users,
In view of the end of operations of PROBAV (see http://proba-v.vgt.vito.be/en/probav-whats-next) foreseen for end of June 2020, the LAI, FCOVER and FAPAR products are not received anymore on the eStation.
The NDVI 1km product is still distributed, but will soon be interrupted as well.
The JRC eStation team is working to make available other vegetation indicators, including the CGLS products derived from Sentinel-3, on the eStation.
These products will be first be released on the online platform (https://estation.jrc.ec.europa.eu/eStation2/) and subsequently on the MESA Stations in Africa.
You are therefore invited to visit and register on the online version, and follow further communication on this channel.
Do not hesitate to contact us at JRC-ESTATION@ec.europa.eu, in case you are using the above mentioned products for further information and guidance.
